Удаление блога произошло по причине скромного посещения сайта и нескромных комментариев со стороны посетителей. Первая из ссылок приведенных ниже поднимает вопрос о влиянии алгоритмов крупных соцсетей, таких как Фэйсбук и Твиттер на популярность информационных каналов в зависимости от степени поляризации помещаемого ими контента. Алгоритмы настроены на привлечение внимания пользователей, а также рост числа таких пользователей за счет информации, которая "разделяет" людей по каким-либо признакам и вызывает ненависть. Этим в какой-то степени обьясняется феномен Трампа - его популярность в соцсетях и непопулярность в виде отдельного блога. Trump reportedly "didn’t like that this platform was being mocked and had so few readers." His entire website, including the blog fundraising pages, reportedly "attracted fewer estimated visitors than the pet-adoption service Petfinder and the recipe site Delish."But while Trump's blog was short-lived, its death can teach us a valuable lesson. Why was the blog so unpopular?
